Aviation Historian Pens Book on Ashland Airport
In May 2017, aviation historian William E. (Bill) Martin published Ashland Airport, Eastern Kentucky's Forgotten Field, an illustrated history of the old airport located in Ashland, KY, where my father first learned to fly and where he crashed and broke his leg on July 31, 1943.
